Fortunes are buffing items similar to Talisman from RPG's, they give a certain percentage of random stats ranging from useless to game changing. Buffs include things like Bonus Coins and Easter Eggs, and are temporary.

Trivia
Some fortunes give "Mystery Buff", no one in the DogeMiner Community has been able to determine what it does. Not even rkn, the creator of DogeMiner.
